THE WARRIOR SPIRIT

Erica De Sequeira is a 16-year-old multi-disciplinary combat athlete from Goa, India, holding 30+ podium medals across Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and Tong-Il Moo-Do (TIMD). Coached by Head Coach Raunak Singh (@coachronnyy), she is Goa's youngest combat sports prodigy competing at international levels.

She won Triple Gold at the 12th Mombasa Open TIMD International Championship in Kenya, crowned WAKO Goa State K1 Champion 2026, and represented India as a contender at the World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Abu Dhabi.

Beyond her competitive career, Erica serves as an official Tactical Defense Trainer for the Goa Police Pink Force, empowering women with real-world self-defense skills, and was felicitated by the Chief Minister and Sports Minister as "Goa's Jewel."

Erica De Sequeira is the only multi-discipline international combat champion Goa has ever produced. At just 16, she holds 30+ podium medals across BJJ, Kickboxing, and Tong-il Moo-Do, including Triple Gold at the Mombasa Open International Championship in Kenya, WAKO Goa State K1 Gold, and a World Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championship contender finish in Abu Dhabi.

She has been felicitated by the Governor of Goa Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Union Minister Shri Shripad Naik, and Sports Minister Shri Govind Gaude who honoured her as "Goa's Jewel 2024."
